That is the LUX version of our waterproof RGB Led strip; if you are looking for the best and newest technology then here is the answer! This waterproof led strip is manufactured using "vacuum diffusion" technique which forms a very thin layer of deposited coating to IP67 waterproof standard without affecting AT ALL the led brightness or colour. The layer is so thin that makes it hard to find the difference between normal and waterproof strip!
This led flexible strip has basically the same specifications as our non waterproof RGB Led strip except being produced at IP68 (waterproof) using a special thin coating (NOT a silicon sleeve!). Led's will have the same brightness as the normal RGB led strip. When mixing the 3 basic colours (R,G,B) can perform a VERY clear white light and definitely any other colour combination can be perfectly achieved using an RGB controller.
It can be still cut on every 3 led's (100mm) but the IP67 will need to be retained by the installer using waterproof silicon (at the point that will be cut).
Its protected against immersion to water for up to 1 meter depth!
