Assembly Information
1. Soldering should only be performed on designated pads marked +/-
2. Don't exceed the maximum soldering time of 10 seconds and temperature of 260 Celsius degrees.
3. The smallest unit (50mm - 3 LEDs) can be cut with scissors between the designated solder pads.
4. Easy mounting of the led strip by means of 3M double-sided adhesive on the back-surface of the strip.
5. Clean and dry mounting surface to be free of oils or silicone coatings as well as dirt.
6. Press on the strip with about 20N/cm2 (refer to application techniques of 3M adhesive tapes).
7. Minimum bending radius is 2 cm. The strip may be bent over a smaller radius of the circuit board not containing any electronic components.
8. Observe electrical polarity; wrong polarity may damage the led strip.
9. Parallel connection is necessary to exceed the maximum allowable series connection (8 meters).
10. Connecting in series more than 8 meters may create unbalanced voltage drop and can cause overloading and damage the strip.
11. Use always the correct power supply according to the led load.
12. Pay attention to standard ESD precautions when installing the strip.
13. Provide suitable protection against corrosive agents such as moisture and condensation or similar elements.
